Your information, looked after

Who we are

Mane London Limited (company number 16931038) runs the studio at 44 Bexley High Street, Bexley DA5 1AH. We decide how your personal information is used, so we're responsible for it under UK data protection law.

For anything about your information, ask us in the studio, call 0208 087 3308, WhatsApp us, or write to the address above.

This website

This site doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking, and it doesn't store anything on your device.

When you plan a visit or ask about a plan, the site simply writes a WhatsApp message for you. Nothing reaches us until you press send in WhatsApp, and you can change or delete the message before you do.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles basic technical details, such as your IP address, to deliver the pages and protect the site from attack.

What we keep when you're a client

• Your name and contact details.
• Your appointments, the services you've had and what you paid.
• Notes about your hair, such as colour formulas, and any photos you send us.
• Skin test results, and any allergies or sensitivities you tell us about.
• Messages you send us on WhatsApp, Instagram or by phone.

Why we use it

• To book and look after your appointments, take deposits and send reminders. We need this to provide the service you've asked for.
• To keep you safe in the chair. Skin test results and allergies are health information, so we only record them with your agreement, and only use them for your care.
• To keep the records the law requires, such as accounts and tax.
• To send you offers and news, but only if you've said yes. You can stop them at any time.

We never sell your information.

Who we share it with

• Vagaro, our booking system, which holds client records and takes deposits and card payments.
• WhatsApp and Instagram (both Meta), when you message us there.
• Cloudflare, which hosts this website.
• Our accountant, for bookkeeping and tax.

Some of these companies handle information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, they use the safeguards UK law requires. We only share your information with anyone else if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your client record while you're visiting us, and for a reasonable time afterwards in case you come back or have a question about a treatment. Financial records are kept for six years, as HMRC requires. You can ask us to delete your record at any time, apart from anything we have to keep by law.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, object to how we use it, or take a copy with you. Where we rely on your agreement, you can withdraw it at any time. Just ask in the studio, by phone or on WhatsApp, and we'll reply within a month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If anything here changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
